Venue Hire Terms and Conditions

By booking with Tracy Lea Weddings it is understood that the customer has read and fully agreed to all our terms and conditions for hire.

Booking Fee – Love Letters/venue dressing/sweet cart/post box

Tracy Lea Weddings requires a 10% booking fee to secure the hire of our Love Letters for your specific date.  This means that they are no longer available to other customers and is therefore non-refundable.  If however you need to change your date then provided that the equipment is available when required we will gladly transfer your original booking fee to your new date. The remaining balance is then due one month before your event (30 days). Failure to do so will result in Tracy Lea Weddings not providing equipment for your event.

Responsibility 

All equipment/props are hired at the clients own risk.  As a result Tracy Lea Weddings does not accept responsibility for any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment. Please ensure all Children are kept away from any equipment any damage caused the client will be liable.

Hire Period 

All our items are hired on an approximate 24 hour basis.  All goods will be delivered before 12pm on the morning of your event and collected before 12pm the morning after.  If alternative times are required due to the event being early or refusal of the venue to hold items overnight then arrangements must be made in advance.

Damages/Breakages or Theft 

If, for any reason, our equipment gets damaged or stolen during the hire period by you or one of your guests you will be held responsible for the cost of  Repairing/replacing the part/item.  Upon collection all items will be examined and photographs taken of any damages.  You will then be notified in writing/via email of the damage along with the photographs and an itemised bill.  You will then be given 14 days from the date the letter is issued to pay the charges. Failure to do so will result in legal court action to pursue these costs. If such action is required you will be liable for any legal charges incurred in addition to the outstanding bill.

Damages/Breakages prior to your event 

Should we suffer any forms of damage to our props/equipment prior to your function we will endeavour to repair/replace the item(s) before your event. In the unlikely event that an item cannot be replaced before your event but is still in reasonable working condition then you will be notified of this via email and the item(s) will be hired as arranged but a partial refund/compensation will be offered at the companies discretion. However, should the items not be suitable for hire then Tracy Lea Weddings will strive to provide a suitable alternative for your event.  Should you not wish to have this alternative then Tracy Lea Weddings will be deemed to have met their commitment and no refund of your booking fee will be offered.  If, however we cannot provide an alternative then a full refund will be given, but no compensation will be offered.

Prop/Equipment Hire 

It is understood by the client that all props/equipment is for hire only and that at no point do you own any goods we provide.
